The Salmon family has been growing vineyards in Chaumuzy, in Vallée de l'Ardre since 1958. Today, the third generation of the family is running the Domaine and is following the path of tradition and exceptionality as regards quality and fineness of its vines, especially Meunier, that is the most suitable variety for the local clay-chalky soils in the Domaine Salmon. That is also the reason why Meunier counts up to 85% of the 10 hectares of vineyards.
The Salmon family is with no doubt an expert of this vine, granting the Champagne its roundness, so they also decided to dedicate a collection to it: the Meunier Collection. Authentic Champagnes to express the terroir features at their best.
