J. de Telmont is a Maison founded in Damery in 1912. Today, the fourth generation of Lhopital family, the siblings Bertrand and Pascale, runs the Maison according to the philosophy of the past generations, aiming at hosting and sharing. They are willing to preserve the unique know-how relying on a long tradition.
The vineyards of J. de Telmont cover a surface of over 30 hectares in 8 villages and are planted with the three classical varieties of the Champagne region: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Meunier. The vineyard is grown in an environmentally friendly way and more than 10 hectares follow the principles of the biodynamics.
An important collection of vintages, from 1969 to the 90s are carefully stored in the deep caves of the Maison to be disgorged upon request.
